Zanzibar is a region of Tanzania that comprises a pair of islands off the eastern coast of Africa called Zanzibar and Pemba.
This island is well known because Freddie Mercury, lead singer of the famous group Queen, was born. The stone of Zanzibar was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000 for being one of the most important cities of the Swahili culture.
Zanzibar is an idyllic island that offers tourists peace, rest and relaxation, being able to immerse yourself in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, and lie on the dazzling white sand beaches.
Can be reached by sea or by air. By plane it is the best since when you fly lower, you will be able to see the landscape, which is beautiful. Prices are very competitive and sometimes even better than by ferry. From Dar es Salaam several airlines make the trip.

There are numerous beaches that you can visit, such as Kendua with gentle waves and very clear waters. Nungwi, an area highly demanded by tourists as it is very close to the Stone City.
